The Living Coast is Closed Until Further Notice
We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 regulations and will remain closed pending guidance from local government and health authorities. Any updates can be seen here first and also on our social media channels.
We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 regulations and have decided to extend our closure until further guidance is received from local government and health authorities. During this temporary closure, we invite you to stay in touch via our social media channels and website, and know that our staff are continuing to care for our animals and our facility.
Ways to stay in touch:
Unfortunately, all onsite programs are canceled due to the closure. If you have questions about refunds and/or rescheduling programs, groups or guest experiences, please email our education department directly at Education@thelivingcoast.org or (619) 409-5908.
We would like to thank the community for their support during this unprecedented time. If you have the ability, we are accepting donations to support our animal care needs during the closure. Alternatively, you can purchase a membership which will support our current operating costs while providing you unlimited admission and member benefits for an entire year, starting from the day we re-open. Please click here for membership information.
Thank you for your continued support of our mission to inspire the community to connect with and care for our coastal environment. We can’t wait to see you again, but until then, stay safe and if you leave your place, cover your face.
Schools, Educators, & Community Programs
Due to our extended closure, we have cancelled all remaining programs for the school year. If you have a question regarding your program cancellation, require a refund for any pre-paid fees, or wish to further discuss moving your program to the Fall, please email email@example.com
