Getting Here
Our free parking lot is located on the corner of Bay Blvd. and E St. in Chula Vista. After parking, wait for the complimentary shuttle. Masks are recommended on the shuttle.
What To Know Before Your Visit

Facial Coverings & Masks:
Masks are strongly recommended for all guests, program participants, and shuttle passengers.
Parking Lot:
The complimentary parking lot is located at the corner of E St. and Bay Blvd. Masks are recommended on the shuttle.
Reduced-Contact Payment:
We have installed a contactless payment feature for ticketing and membership purchases. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and cash.
Wash & Sanitize Your Hands:
We have increased hand-washing stations and added sanitizing stations throughout the Center. Please frequently wash and sanitize your hands and avoid touching exhibits and objects. Avoid touching your face when possible.

When will you reopen?
We are open to the general public Wednesday-Sunday.
Do I need a reservation?
We are not currently requiring or offering advanced ticket purchasing.
Do I need a facial covering/mask?
Facial coverings are recommended for all guests ages 2+ while indoors but are not required.
Can I purchase/renew a membership while on-site?
Yes. Although you can save time by purchasing your membership online before visiting: thelivingcoast.org/memberships.
Can I use an expired coupon?
Coupons that were still valid as of March 2020 are being extended and will be accepted for 14 months beyond their expiration. Memberships that expired during our closure are also being extended. Contact the membership department for details.
Are you offering group tickets/tours?
Yes, we are now offering group tickets and tours on a limited basis.

Do you accept cash payments?
Yes, but credit card is preferred.
Do you sell food? Can I bring food?
Our gift shop sells a few packaged snacks and beverages, but we encourage guests to bring their own food as we have a variety of picnic tables and benches that offer scenic lunch views.
Discounts, Offers, and Accomodations
To redeem any offer, admission must be bought onsite.
Promotions and coupons cannot be combined with any other coupons or offers. Coupons that expired between March 2020 and May 2021 will be accepted 14 months beyond their expiration date. We cannot accept coupons for Chula Vista Nature Center.
Student
Students 13-18 years old and adults with college I.D. receive 20% off admission with our student discount.
Senior 65
Seniors 65 and better receive 20% off admission!
Military
- Active, Retired, or Veteran Military receive 20% off your admission price! Just show your DEERS or Veteran’s card at the front desk.
- Family members of Military receive 20% off admission price with their DEERS card.
First Responders
- First Responders, including police, paramedics, and firefighters receive 20% off your admission when you show your badge or First Responder ID at the front desk!
- All family members of First Responders get 20% off when accompanied by First Responders.
Groups
Large groups receive a 20% discount on entry ticket prices.
Reservation is required to receive the discount.
People with Disabilities
We want to do our best to accommodate all people with disabilities. We offer 1 complimentary Attendant Ticket per paid person with disabilties (children 2 and under are not part of this program).
Our shuttle is ADA-accessible. We have two (2) wheelchairs available for check-out (license or ID will be held until wheelchair is returned). We also have private restrooms available for those that need them. Please ask our front desk for more details or call our mainline 619-409-5900 for any other accommodations.
