Since 2012, December 4 has been recognized as World Wildlife Conservation Day…
This honorary day was created to raise awareness of wildlife extinction and endangerment. The Living Coast is proud to educate the community on the importance of conservation and actively participate in saving species! As a member of multiple breeding programs designed to reintroduce threatened or endangered species locally, we have successfully bred, hatched, and released the federally endangered Lightfooted Ridgway’s Rail & threatened Western Burrowing Owl.
Join us on December 2 & 3 to celebrate Wildlife Conservation Day with animal encounters and educational Discovery Tables to learn more about these vital species and how we can work together to protect them!
