Come join the fun, learn all about the wonders of soils, and get discounts on outdoor composting units. We’ll cover practical ways to set up home composting systems in order to organically beautify our landscape and lessen our ecological footprint! School Compost Program
Our new Composting Program is perfect for your class, garden club, or sustainability group. Suggested for Grades 3-8. We come to your school and teach the “Whats, Whys, and Hows of Composting”. If you have a compost bin on site, we also spend time turning the pile together. Visit our School Outreach page for more details, fees, and how to register.
Master Composter Program – April 23 – June 4th
Tuesdays, 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. for 7 weeks
Become a Master Composter with this seven-week training course at the Living Coast. Topics will include building and maintaining a pile, soil ecology, composting with worms, and more. Volunteer, field trip, and hands-on components are included. If interested in this class, please email Katharine@thelivingcoast.org to be notified on how to register.
