Little Gardeners: Two-day program

Time to get grubby as we dig into our local soil! We’ll plant seeds, press flowers and explore for worms in the compost pile, all while visiting with our local wildlife. Budding gardeners will dig this camp!

This is a camp all about one of the Center’s most-loved animals- stingrays! Through crafts, games and lots of up-close time with these graceful creatures, we’ll discover all of the radical ways of rays!

Turtles in My Sandbox: Two-day program

Eggs buried in the sand, shells as big as a 5 year old…what can it be? It’s turtles! We’ll discover these awesome reptiles and learn how cool being cold blooded really is.

Shark Bites: Three-day program

Sharks are some of the coolest animals around! In this camp, we’ll “swim” like sharks; feed sharks and even (gulp!) touch a shark! Through games, crafts and up-close encounters, we’ll sink our teeth into all things shark!

Mystery in the Marsh:

Why do some animals have deadly adaptations? From the seashore to the ocean floor we will explore and test out the different tools researchers use to study the “deadly and dangerous” adaptations animals use to survive. Biologist Days 1: Two-day program $140 ($126 Members)-

An unforgettable experience for teens who are interested in a career working with animals! Experience two days in the life of a keeper/aquarist first hand while working behind the scenes with staff biologists. Prepare animal diets, clean enclosures and more while discovering the inner workings of a wildlife facility! (Limit 4 campers)

Advanced Biologist Days: Two – Day program – $199 ($179 members)
For the biologist at heart! If your teen participated in Biologist Days 1 and wants more then this program is for them! They will get a chance to go out in the field with biologists from the US Fish & Wildlife service, learn how we track animals, plant native plants and even work with our clapper rails!
*Note: this camp goes off site for a portion of day 2
